Geronimo branding by Nike

Excellent campaign by Nike in Canada where Native Americans from 700 tribes had their feet measured and the Air Native shoe specially designed to allow for feet upto 3x width of the usual Nike shoe. Very clever niche marketing and native advertising in its real sense.

HIV and Coke really the real thing.

Coca-Cola leading the way on HIV prevention in Africa with an innovative workplace programme of condom vending machines, paypacket advertising, NGO campaigns and HIV testing at their bottling plants. A difficult subject well-handled and all their bottling plants involved.

Road Accidents reduced by text

Interesting Allstate Car Insurance campaign to reduce 5,000 teenager deaths in car accidents in USA each year. Social media pledge campaign to "X The TXT" and then free thumb band to wear in the car with the message "TXTING KILLS". Nice blend of offline and online and in-situ marketing relevant to teenagers. And helping prevent 13 deaths per day and 1,000 injuries per day.

CSR on fire

Very neat US Fire Brigade campaign to prevent 2,600 deaths in home fires with Energizer batteries to link the clock changes in Summer with checking the smoke alarms etc. "Change your clock change your battery". Neat. Very neat.

Very impressive brand work by charity - helping 8.5M people and raising $5M in cash plus $3.5M in goods each year. And as part of the Luxottica/Lenscrafter opticians chain. Has to be the branding of the future.
